Toss out Republicans who slashed public schools.

Teachers are running for office. And striking teachers hold a sign that must dominate in 2018.Turn on images.

VOTE. THEM. OUT. Donate to teachers running for office -- and public education champions running to seize back power in state capitols across the nation.

This week, thousands of teachers and supporters marched on state capitols in Oklahoma and Kentucky. They're demanding that students get a better education after decades of budget cuts and austerity forced by Republican state legislators.

Last month in West Virginia, teachers demanded increases and won, proving that Republicans can be forced to back down.

We need more teachers with classroom experience in state legislatures and other elected offices. We are bringing many to our 450-person National Candidate Training in DC next week!

They can defeat Republicans who offer teachers guns instead of a quality education for students.

Byong, can you help? Donate $1 each to outstanding progressives running for state and local offices in 2018 -- including 4 teachers, and other public education champions!

You can support former high school math teacher Rachel May (NY-SD53), who is taking on a conservative "Democrat" that voted to give Republicans control of the New York State Senate.

Beth Llewellyn McLaughlin (TX-HD97) taught public school for 32 years and is running to flip her district red to blue.

Zellie Thomas (Paterson, NJ City Council), third grade math teacher, faces his election in just a few weeks.

And heading into November's general election, college counselor Aaron Ortiz (IL-HD1) shocked Chicago with an upset victory in a primary against an entrenched incumbent last month.

Support them here.

In 2018, we can change the makeup of legislatures from Maine to Oregon, from North Carolina to Texas, and everywhere in between. We can replace destructive Republicans with progressives who will fight for what everyday people need most such as educating our children, healthcare for our loved ones, expanding Social Security for our parents and grandparents, and good jobs that pay living wages.

In these races, a little bit of money goes a long way. Our help can make an enormous difference. Please donate today.

Thanks for being a bold progressive.
